QuickTalk and QuickLook 3.0

QuickTalk for Windows is a communications program designed for use with the Kinemetrics Altus recorder. Use QuickTalk to establish a communications connection with the recorder, either directly through an RS-232 cable, or through two modems (one at a PC and one at the recorder) and a telecommunications carrier. QuickTalk transfers files between the recorder and the PC, and enables you to view recorder status and messages; and to set and change Altus recorder parameters. QuickTalk also enables access to a command-line interface with the recorder via the Terminal window.
